As part of the celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) and the Municipal Health Office (MHO) of San Esteban led by MDRRMO Mark Allan Angeles and Dr. Coniflor B. Umalla successfully conducted a Blood Letting Activity aimed at promoting volunteerism, preparedness, and community resilience.

The activity was conducted in partnership with Ilocos Sur Provincial Hospital Gabriela Silang and Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center, with the participation of volunteer blood donors from various sectors of the municipality.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the full support of Municipal Mayor Hon. Maria Divina Gracia Elaydo-Etalin,MD,MPA,MPH and Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Ray M. Elaydo II, MPA, whose commitment to public health and disaster preparedness continues to benefit the people of San Esteban.
